We’ve resisted socks and sweaters for weeks now, but even we know it’s time to layer up.

Our sartorial journey into fall begins with a gorgeous new wooly sweater from Preloved ($149).

Combining the textures and patterns of five vintage sweaters, this short sleeve design works perfectly for early fall nights. And once it gets really nippy we’ll turn the collar up and cabbage dress with layers of long and short sleeve tees underneath.

But for now, we’re still sockless, at least.
